2010 already! How did you ring in the new year at the stroke of midnight?
I had my best turn-of-the-year yet. The Boy came to stay for a week, and on the 30th we headed to an old theatre in Camden for a pre-New Year's Eve party - complete with a countdown to 12'o'clock and a flurry of massive balloons!
On the Eve itself, we watched the fireworks exploding from the London Eye from the comfort of the sofa, then put on our favourite songs and danced around the Christmas tree together, singing along and drinking lots of champagne!

Yesterday was perfect. We arose in the afternoon and wandered through the wintry park to Hampton Court, stopping to buy brownies and look at nearly-tame robins. We broke in to the gardens and ran though the archways hand in hand and kissed in the alcoves of the Tudor gardens and climbed trees, and we stayed so long that we were accidentally locked in after nightfall! We managed to escape, and bought lollipops and rode on the merry-go-round, and we walked back home in the cold to piping hot chicken casserole, Pushing Daisies, chocolate pudding and the last of the champagne.

More days doing absolutely nothing except anything we like...
To take you to Disneyland Paris for Christmas, to see the snowfall on Main Street and ride on It's A Small World, because I know how much you would love it...
To build a treehouse with you, like this one...
...Or just holiday in one with you, like this one you found when you Googled 'awesome tree houses'...
To stay in bed all day...
But who knows what the new year shall bring? At the back of my mind, this is always my problem...
But in the end...
And perhaps...
